About Me

Hello. My name is Bobby Jo Mangercina, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2000.  I got my start in massage therapy as a certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist from Equissage in 1997.  I had so many requests from the owners of the horses that I was working on to massage them that I decided to go to massage school for people.  I graduated  from the New York College of Wholistic Health, Education & Research in 1999 with a degree in Massage Therapy.  Since then I have also become a certified Medical Massage therapist & have numerous other certifications.  I am licensed in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, North Carolina & New York as well as being Nationally Board Certified in therapeutic massage by the NCBTMB.  I am also a certified level member of Associated Massage & Bodywork Professionals (ABMP).

I am originally from Long Island, NY & moved to Maryland from North Carolina in 2011.  I had my own massage therapy practice for several years with offices in Asheboro & Greensboro, NC. I now have offices in Bel Air, MD & Oxford, PA.  I live here with my husband Eric and our dogs, cats & horses.

I work with my clients to help them with a variety of needs, whether it be pain relief, relaxation or to enhance overall well-being.  I use a combination of techniques to tailor each massage to your specific needs. I have experience working with injuries from auto accidents, athletes, spine and joint issues, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, repetitive use injuries, chronic pain, headaches, and of course, the stressors of everyday life.

Taking time for yourself is so important for all aspects of health.  I feel so strongly about the positive effects massage therapy can have on your health and well-being.  Thank you for letting me be able to help you feel better naturally.
